The newest addition to our range of Ultimate Performance Intercoolers…the HDJ100 Ultimate Front Mount. Made in our South Australian Fabrication Facility, our entire range of Intercoolers are still, and always will be 100% Australian Made with PWR Racer Series Cores across our range.
The biggest point of difference is that no drilling, or cutting is required for installation.
Core size is 660x275x68mm and there is an optional 57mm aluminium hard pipe kit (also available separately) which replaces the factory pipework, the folded aluminium tanks ensure maximum heat transfer efficiency, and minimise heat soak compared with cast tanks. Our kit also includes our new Fluorine lined 4 ply premium silicones and Tridon stainless steel hose clamps.
Kits are available for automatic (comes with replacement upgraded trans cooler), manual, factory turbo, aftermarket turbo, factory pipes or include our hard pipe upgrade.
During testing, we have seen some key results:
- Up to 70-degree Celsius drop in intake temperature over the factory intercooler. Under full boost with factory turbo, we have seen a steady intake temperature around 10 degrees above ambient.
- Improved air flow over the factory intercooler. The factory unit becomes a restriction at 3000rpm with the ultimate intercooler kit, power is made available all through the rev range
- We are able to see the same results as competitors with a smaller more efficient core meaning we can offer a no drill / cut intercooler kit.
- Heat soak is further reduced with aluminium pipework as it dissipates heat faster.
